Wine estate Schuckert

This wine estate in „Poysdorf – Austria’s wine town“ is run as a family business. 30 single vineyard sites in the hills around Poysdorf provide the foundation for the estate’s expressive wines with typical varietal character.

Yield reduction thanks to strict pruning and thinning-out as well as controlled vinification are standard practice in the Schuckert winery, thereby shaping the high quality of the wines. The family’s particular passion is Grüner Veltliner. All quality aspects are explored in order to underscore the uniqueness of the variety and the great potential of the area. Even with Welschriesling the Schuckert family sees positive potential for their business.
