Weingut Latschka

We are a family business cultivating 1.5 ha of vineyards in the heart of Veltliner country.

Our Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Rheinriesling, Chardonnay, Blauburger and Zweigelt grapes ripen on the sunny south-facing slopes of the vineyard sites Hermannschachern and Fuchsenberg. Of course the Weinviertel DAC plays an important role in our range. Every year we also produce a white wine from red Zweigelt grapes by taking the juice off the skins quickly. We also produce a lightly sparkling wine from Welschriesling and Rheinriesling.

Our range is enhanced by products from our own distillery. We only use Poysdorf fruit, such as apricots, peaches, Kriecherl plums or pears for our distillates. Of course we also have distillates made from grape marc and wine grapes. Our liqueurs make excellent partners to our Frizzante.
